The British nonprofit Battersea Dogs & Cats Home received a stray German Shepherd that was in such horrible health that it made people cry just looking at her. Ralph the dog was saved by volunteers and a new owner, and he displayed his true beauty and gentlemanliness to everyone!

Initially, Ralph, a stray dog, entered a shelter. The German shepherd has no apparent reason for turning up on the street, but he has undoubtedly been homeless for a while. Due to his wandering lifestyle, the four-year-old dog was in a bad shape.
Ralph’s current owner, Wendy Tung, stated that Ralph’s previous owners had blatantly mistreated the dog:
He insisted vehemently that I accompany him when he enters the yard. He probably feared being abandoned in the cold. He looked to have previously been locked in the yard and left unattended. Professionals promptly took in Ralph, and as a consequence of their efforts, the dog was altered.

Ralph received round-the-clock care at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home for a sickness, an eye ailment, and ear surgery. A month after taking temporary custody of Ralph, Wendy Tung, 60, and her husband made the decision to keep the dog permanently because they had such a strong connection to him.
“Despite his terrible beginning in life, he was always trustworthy, kind, and sympathetic. He makes us happy. He was still in terrible shape when I first brought him home, which was difficult to witness. He lacked any muscles and was a skeleton.” The new owner describes the dog as a great gentleman.

He is exceptionally well-behaved and will never whine or ask for anything, so Wendy never makes her pet sad. Additionally, Cinderella’s transformation from a stray dog to such a nice guy is a real Cinderella tale. Only in a dog’s fashion!
