Nine years ago, the Burster family from America had a beautiful dog, but she passed away. For a very long time, Katherine had trouble accepting her loss. But they will soon find out a surprise in life.
Katherine stumbled into a Philadelphia-based animal rescue group’s posting looking for a home for a pair of pit bulls. The woman inferred from the article that the dogs are deeply bonded and will probably not tolerate separation. After contacting this group, Katherine learned that there were already contenders for the boy and that no one wants to accept a couple of dogs, so they would have to look for owners separately.
The woman made the choice to discuss it with her husband. Before visiting the shelter to get to know the dogs, they talked about it for a few days. After spending some time with them, they realized they couldn’t abandon them. They as a result took the dogs home with them.
The couple’s dogs, Gus and Nina, quickly acclimated to their new environment and became very happy and cheerful. It is clear that they are grateful to the new owners for keeping them together.
