The bride and groom’s love for not only one another but also for stray dogs in need of loving homes drew them together for this marriage. Given that they currently share a house with two adorable dogs and two adorable kittens, it is not surprising that the couple’s wedding was pet-free.
Due to the vast number of puppies still in need of homes and loving parents, the couple decided to organize a photo session with dogs rather than a floral one. A gorgeous dog was given to each bridesmaid by a nearby animal rescue.
“Love and dogs are all you need,” the poster declares. We felt that by making these images public, we might be able to put an end to the never-ending cycle of newborn puppies being abandoned.
“People need to understand that animal shelters are full of abandoned and lonely pets looking for new homes,” the bride said in her explanation. Her plan worked since every puppy in these pictures was saved from a shelter.
The newlyweds paid a staggering amount to the shelter’s account, which allowed them to rent canines for the wedding after using their savings for wedding favors for the guests.
