The dog was dragged into the water by an alligator. The owner was forced to defend himself against a frightening predator. Early in June, an alligator appeared from the swamp and snatched up the man’s rescue dog as he was strolling around the perimeter of his farm.

It started to drag the canine’s paw into the water. The dog’s predator refused to budge as the man tried to drag it by its collar. The man then dove into the water and started to slap the alligator over the head.
The injured dog was left by the water’s edge as the beast fled. The dog’s paw was severely injured and required immediate surgery.

The man only suffered minor injuries. Between April and June, when they grow more active and aggressive, crocodiles are at their most dangerous.
After the incident, the man set up an alligator trap in an effort to catch the crocodile before it could do any more damage. Nothing has so far succeeded, despite his attempts to attract the reptile using a rooster.

Despite the fact that a local wildlife management organization is willing to relocate the alligator far from people, the man hasn’t given up on getting rid of the predator from the county.
