A pregnant French Bulldog who posed for glowing maternity photos with her canine dad-to-be and then for a sweet newborn photo session with her puppies enchanted the internet.
Gizmo, a three-and-a-half-year-old expecting mother, and Steele, her beloved dog, were just a few weeks away from becoming parents when they posed for the pregnancy photo shoot in August of last year.
The Frenchie family then posed again, this time for a newborn photoshoot, to commemorate the arrival of their five furry bundles of joy in September 2017.

Dogs are more well-behaved than their human counterparts, according to part-time photographer Macy Siudzinksi, who had never shot maternity or newborn images with dogs before and was concerned the shoot would be challenging.
After placing an online advertisement, the 20-year-old from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, was thrilled to receive the unexpected request, saying the dogs “simply understood how to work the camera.”

Macy, a nursing school student, said: “I posted an ad online regarding photoshoots with newborn newborns. This is the first time I’ve published the pictures to the media.
I anticipated it would be quite challenging, but the dogs were excellent. They made the ideal models.
Krissi Stranz, 29, and Joey Schueler, 30, the owners of Gizmo and Steele, said they wanted to mark Gizmo’s second and final litter with the special photoshoot.

The Green Bay, Wisconsin, pair, who are licensed French Bulldog breeders, own their own home-based company called “Bleu Steele French Bulldogs.”
The images of Gizmo’s pregnancy and the new puppies were really meaningful to us, according to insurance business employee Krissi.
“We have a designated space in our home for the dogs called the “puppy room,” where we intend to frame the pictures and hang them.
