A football-obsessed dog has invented a creative way to trail his favorite team, Celtic FC, by standing on his hind legs and CLAPPING whenever his owner mentions the squad. Sadie, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is seven years old, has been performing the trick for Sean Fleeton in Northern Ireland for years.
The amusing video captures the mutt’s wild celebrations after The Bhoys defeated Glasgow rivals Rangers 2-1 on New Year’s Eve in a Scottish Premiership match.
Sean’s father John can be heard shouting, “Clap your hands for Celtic,” as Sean’s dog Sadie, who wears a Hoops jersey, can be seen prancing on her hind legs in front of a Celtic flag and clapping her front paws together.

“My entire family is Celtic daft, and Sadie is too,” said Sean, 24, of Crumlin, County Antrim. She routinely performs it with the simple click of a finger.
“I brought her over to my dad’s house so we could watch the match versus Rangers, and of course, we were very happy with the outcome.
She’s been doing this ever since we got her as a puppy, and she’s a really bright little dog. She jumps to her feet and begins clapping whenever she hears the word “Celtic.” Another Staffie, a mastiff, and a greyhound are my dad’s other three dogs, although none of them seem to be interested in football.

“Sadie would join you in your seat to watch the games. She’ll take part in the festivities if we succeed.
Although Sadie doesn’t always wear her unique Celtic shirt, she does when the family watches sporting events on television. Sadie particularly appreciated Saturday’s victory at Ibrox, which gave Brendan Rodgers’ club a 19-point lead at the top of the standings.

Sean, a maker for an electrical company, said: “Everyone knows she’s crazy about Celtic, so she kind of has a celebrity status around here.
She was raised in a home where everyone supports Celtic, and it is obvious that this environment has influenced her.
