Coco, a canine nautical enthusiast, enjoys splashing around in the sea and gliding over the blue waves like a mutt mermaid.
Jessica Barcerra, the dog’s owner, captured these breathtaking images while sailing off the Honolulu, Hawaii, shore.
The aquatic terrier was acquired by Jessica seven years ago when she was just a puppy. She said: “Coco only started swimming two years ago – she loves the water but doesn’t enjoy the cold!”
“She first struggled, but after spending 30 minutes in the water with me, she eventually figured out how to navigate.”
“She jumps on my back and sits as I snorkel when we’re in the water, never leaving my side.”
