Meet these two kittens; they are both unusually born. They are both from the same litter. Any form of rear legs is absent. The two boys learned to walk despite their physical limitations almost as rapidly as regular little cats.
They can easily support themselves on their front legs when walking, thanks to their tails. As soon as the kittens were born, their owners posted pictures of them online to help people discover their owners.
When volunteers from a shelter viewed the pictures, they made the decision to care for the cats on their own. All indications point to the situation being unusual.
Given that their mother and father were siblings, inbreeding is most likely to blame for their irregularity. The coordinator of the shelter claims that the young cats’ capacity to adjust is significantly impacted by the loss of two of their rear legs.
They happily run and walk, and they’ve even picked up how to bounce on chairs and couches. The health and behavior of the small cats are being carefully observed.
