Sorasart Wisetsin, the dog’s current owner, discovered Gluta on the streets of Thailand. Gluta is known online as the world’s happiest dog.
Since pets were not permitted in the hostel where Sorasart resided, he would regularly visit the stray in a parking lot to feed her.
He took the dog to the vet once it became evident that Gluta had certain medical problems.
Her uterus had to be removed after tests and scans revealed that she had metritis.
Then, after learning that she also had cervical cancer, she underwent laser surgery and numerous cycles of chemotherapy.
Fortunately, she received a clean bill of health a year and a half later.
Now, the duo amuses thousands of followers by sharing humorous photos of the content dog on Facebook and Instagram.
“Her sorrowful eyes turned to sparkle brilliantly with joy like never before,” Sorasart remarked.
The sole expression on her face going forward will be a smile.
