Following the two policemen’s successful rescue of the small dog from the street, the animal was content and felt safe. Merado and Taverra, two loyal LAPD officers, were on patrol when they came upon a small dog.
Without anybody to care for him, he was left on the sidewalk. When he saw the two policemen, the dog appeared to believe that they could assist him. He made a hasty retreat to follow them. The two officers at the moment believed they couldn’t part with such a cute little puppy.
They took the dog and put it in the car right away. He couldn’t stop delivering bear embraces and appreciative looks to his car’s rescuers. These police officers have a special place in his tiny heart.
The dog was brought to the station.
He was given food and care by officers who were sympathetic to his situation, and they gave him the name Hagart in honor of the location where they first discovered him.
Officer Merado made the decision to adopt Hagart because they had previously grown close. He wanted to provide this little dog with everything he could possibly require in order to make him happy.
