After learning that the clinic unexpectedly extracted a tooth during the neutering of his puppy, a dog owner questions whether it was appropriate to lash out at a vet nurse.
The author of the message stated at the outset of it that he recently dropped off his 6-month-old Goldendoodle at the vet to be neutered. The procedure was a component of a “puppy package” that also included neutering and all necessary immunizations, wellness checks, and microchipping.

The author of the post learned that the clinic had performed unexpected teeth extractions after going back to pick up the puppy and getting the aftercare instructions.
The vet nurse informed the owner that the only expense not covered by the puppy package was the $20 fee for the two teeth that were pulled while the dog was under anesthesia.

Naturally surprised, the man asked the employee a question and said that his puppy was only there to be neutered. The pup’s two canines were beginning to erupt, the nurse continued, but the baby teeth had to be extracted because they were not sufficiently loose.
The man claimed that they did more than just recommend it; they simply went ahead and extracted the teeth without bothering to notify him first. She then clarified that it is a very common treatment and is frequently advised by the veterinarian.

Naturally, the puppy owner was shocked and raised his worries about the clinic’s decision to proceed without first discussing it with him.
The method was subsequently dismissed, but the author of the post felt “rude, difficult, and cheap” afterward.
