This lady is a nurse that works in a hospital in Georgia. They developed a close relationship with one of her patients who was an elderly woman in pretty bad health.
The woman’s only concern when sick was what would happen to her Chihuahua if she passed away. She didn’t have any close family members, kids, or even a family; all she had was a dog.
When the patient passes away, Kimberly was told to donate the puppy to a shelter. But she was worried that the dog wouldn’t be able to find a home. She decided to adopt her as her own.
Kimberly decided to adopt the dog from the animal shelter in order to give him the best life possible. She believed that providing this care to her patient as she approached death was the best thing she could have done.
More important than looking after her health is this. She claims that she doesn’t even consider looking for a dog in a new home.
