The officer saves the cat and takes her on patrol so she won’t be forgotten.

A Florida cop discovered a tiny, abandoned cat at the base of a lamppost. Cardine brought the kitty to the construction site. Sergeant Wallace cradled the kitten in his arms and caressed her all through the night to prevent her from feeling lonely.

Officer Cardine escorted the selected kitten to the station, where she was given a bed made of cardboard boxes. Sergeant Wallace was unable to abandon the cat alone, though, as she seemed to be alone.

He took the baby in his arms and started observing her. Wallace couldn’t bear to let the kitten go, so he held her nonstop the entire night.

He decided to keep the cat, which he gave the name Kelsi.
On June 19, Father’s Day, the kitty by happy coincidence found a new father. Wallace’s new pet was featured in pictures posted on the police department’s Facebook page.

More than 2,000 people have already liked the cat-related post. Isn’t this a fantastic story?
