While other dogs remained in warm houses with their owners, where they were well-fed and given plenty of rest, a juvenile bulldog was discovered in the snow on a street in January. The poor puppy was born with only three legs due to a birth defect.
His owners didn’t like him because he was the only puppy in the litter to be born with a handicap. They threw it into the cold street without giving it a second thought. Nighttime temperatures were quite frigid, and it didn’t appear that the snow would end anytime soon.
Hours passed for the puppy until a compassionate rescuer discovered him buried in the snow. He was on the verge of dying right now. The infant’s state astounded the observer, who found it unbelievable that anyone on Earth could have done such atrocities to him.
But it was more important to save the dogs! The rescuer quickly carried the dog to safety. Fortunately, the dog made it. He received treatment without delay. Now a young and healthy man, he is available for adoption. We have always been adamantly opposed to animal mistreatment.
Animals are defenseless beings that deserve respect and admiration.
