Black cat Arries was born there with his family in a small rural shelter in the United States. Given that the weather had changed and it was frigid outside, the shelter started looking for a family to adopt the mother cat and her young.

The cats were all taken in by a rescue group after they were made aware of them. One of the group members, Tracie, began observing the cats and soon realized that Arries wasn’t acting quite right.
We had a lot of work ahead of us after viewing this, so the cat obviously needed to start walking. ‘ He frequently got into difficulties, which was unusual for his family.

“The doctor suggested that we tape his paws so that he wouldn’t bring them beneath his stomach but would instead try to use them”. As Arries grew older, his legs didn’t look normal and most of them looked like bug legs.

This was particularly accurate when he was sitting. Even as an adult cat with distinctive legs and a similarly odd walk, Arries doesn’t seem to be aware of his uniqueness from the other cats.
