Once ridiculed for being overweight, the girl now resembles a supermodel.

The woman made the decision to start dieting at the age of 16. She used to prefer a bagel and chocolate for breakfast, but now she prefers fruit and coffee. Nilan chooses a tuna salad or pizza on toast for lunch rather than a tuna sandwich with noodles.


The girl now selects low-calorie meals like pasta with sauce, salmon with rice and veggies, or beans with cheese instead of the traditional pizza and spaghetti with mayonnaise-based sauces that were once served for dinner. She was able to lose 16 kg in those eight months.

Nilan was so inspired by this that she kept on losing weight and gradually started playing sports. Being 57 kg heavier, the woman claims to feel “totally different.” She was self-conscious before, but now she sees the beauty in her own mirror.


The girl is overjoyed that she can now dress whichever she wants and still feel lovely and at ease. “You need to be aware that it will take time and that you need to alter your lifestyle. Making the procedure enjoyable at all times should be the main goal,” she said.
