In response to his son’s refusal to shoot a t-shirt in the pool, Derek Prue Sr., a Canadian resident, acted boldly and lovingly.

In order to show his son that he was not alone, he noticed that his child had begun to hide his birthmark, which he was very proud of. His son felt more confident after seeing him tattooed with the same birthmark. He expected the tattoo session to last several hours, but it ended up lasting 30 hours, with the first session lasting about four hours.

Despite the pain and commitment, Derek Sr. wanted to make sure his son knew he was not alone. The tattoo was a perfect replica of Derek Sr.’s son’s birthmark that he showed his son as the family returned to the pool. The child was shocked and extremely happy to learn that his father had done this for him. Therefore, the boy removed his t-shirt and compared his birthmark to his father’s tattoo, feeling more confident and no longer shy.

Despite Derek Jr.’s father’s torment, he now feels more confident and is no longer ashamed of his birthmark. His son’s self-esteem and self-worth have been significantly impacted by his father’s love and support. An example of a father’s love towards his child and the lengths he will go to to ensure that his child is happy and well-adjusted.
