The couple rescued a kitten from death, abandoned on the street. Its rare color wins hearts!

Two kittens were rescued by the Cat Rescue Center in Nashville. They were found in the yard of their new house by their spouses, who moved. Crumbs were only 2 weeks old when they were placed with two inseparable cats that had just become mothers. A couple of months ago, Olivia and Pickle were taken to the shelter.

It turned out that they were girlfriends. They ate, slept, and played together. When they lambed almost simultaneously, they began to feed their babies together while lying in an embrace.

Olivia and Pickle adopted two step-calves immediately and began to love them as their own. Pretzel and Apricot were the names of the kids. Unlike his brother, the last kitten had an unusual appearance. The baby was born with a unique color due to a genetic defect. Half of his face is red and half is black.

“Chimeras” are cats of this type. Due to the fusion of two embryos during fetal development, their cells contain a double type of DNA. Two-faced kittens such as Apricot are born in such situations.

All the employees of the center fell in love with the unusual kid. The baby will, however, need good owners as he grows up, like his brother Pretzel, as well as the cubs of foster mothers. Pickle and Olivia are waiting for the same “adoption”. Shelter employees plan to give them to one family rather than separate them.
