It’s unclear whether Hailey and Kylie Jenner intended to make fun of Selena’s unsuccessful eyebrow lamination. As a result of such inaccurate jokes, they began to lose followers on Instagram. It’s generally scary to read the comments under their latest posts. Several weeks have passed since Selena’s fans rampaged there.
Gomez herself called for calm among the frenzied defenders of the singer. She published a story on Instagram in which she admitted Hailey had contacted her and told her about the terrible threats. Hailey Bieber contacted me and said she had received threats. I do not stand for this. This should never happen to anyone. Throughout my life, I have stood for kindness, and I really want it all to stop.”
It’s frightening to think of how much commitment fans can have to their idols. In light of Selena just recently breaking another Instagram record, these statements seem especially frightening.
