There is no doubt that the ending of this pit bull’s story will melt your heart, even though the story itself is so awful. A month ago, Mama Pickles, a two-year-old pit bull, was found wandering alone on the streets.
It was determined that she was not a stray dog, but rather a lost one, so animal control authorities attempted to locate her family. As she was pregnant, she was in desperate need of assistance. When they reached Pickles’ owners, they were horrified to learn that the negligent owners no longer wanted her. She wound up in a local shelter as a result. In spite of this, the little refuge was unable to meet the prospective mother’s requirements.
She was transferred to Pits & Giggles Rescue, a facility specializing in caring for pregnant and nursing dogs. The dog and the volunteers at the facility were both thrilled when they first met. Photographer Lauren decides to arrange a picture session with Pickles, the newest member of Pits & Giggles Rescue.
In a few months, Mama Pickles and her adorable babies will be available for adoption.
