As a puppy, Marshall the Golden Retriever was adopted.
Instead of being a sweet, obedient, and intelligent dog, the puppy tore up soft toys and pillows, throwing stuffing everywhere. In the living room, he gnawed flowers and scattered food.
Marshall loved puddles from the moment he was a baby. After a walk, he came back smeared with mud. A retriever can find water even in dry weather. Macy was taken care of by the dog after she was born.
She grew up with a dog watching over her. Marshall was there when Macy was learning to sit and playing in the playpen. He accompanied her when she took her first steps. They also played and slept together.
Marshall was calmed down by Macy. Macy’s mom says nothing makes her heart flutter like their games together. The dog lets the girl do everything: ride him, touch his teeth, drag his cheeks and nose, grab his ears. Macy just gets licked by Marshall.
Marshall just looks at me like that when he’s had enough… We’ve never seen him look malicious. When he wants to be alone, he goes to our bedroom. Now that Marshall can climb on the bed, she’ll have to hide better,” said the girl’s mom.
