Carly Coco’s pet, 7-year-old Nanook, is a fluffy, beautiful dog. Handling him requires great care.
Nanook was brought to the groomer by the girl, asking for a slight haircut. According to her story, she only wanted the groomer to trim the dog’s overgrown hair. Only around the ears and paws.
While picking up the formerly fluffy dog, Carly felt as if she was seeing someone else’s. In fact, Coco called Nanook a few times to make sure it was her Samoyed. He seems to have changed the breed! In the end, almost all of his fur was removed.

The owners protected Nanook’s delicate skin from bright sunlight with cream and a T-shirt during these long weeks. Carly and her husband decided to find a new groomer after this incident.
