Xiongxiong is constantly petted, fed, and contacted by people, but he doesn’t seem interested. Mr. Chen emerges from the subway and the dog runs joyfully towards him. As soon as the owner greets his dog, he takes him home.

“Xiongxiong fills me with happiness when he sees me after work,” the owner says. As a result, I no longer feel tired when I see him.” Xiongxiong’s story went viral on social media after it aired on a local news channel.

Observers marveled at the dog’s devotion, calling it “the new Hachiko,” after a Japanese dog who waited month after month for its owner.
