After allowing them this once, there was no turning back! ”The task of sharing a bed with pets proved to be a challenge for one couple in New York.

When the eight dogs Chris and Marisea Hughes rescued started sleeping on their bed, they lost their comfortable sleep. The couple decided to stop fighting over a bed or even on the couch after many agonizing nights. If a huge bed is not the best solution for comfortable placement of everyone, what would be?

“Huge” is not an exaggeration! Two double mattresses can be accommodated in the bed frame.Over 13 feet is the total length of the bed.In turn, the couple approached bespoke furniture maker Mike Ford, who was an avid animal lover.

He agreed to take on this project willingly. The miracle bed is finally ready after 6 months of painstaking work. For old dogs who find it difficult to jump on and off the bed, a mini-ladder is included in the frame.A storage box is located at the bottom of this design.

On the back of this bed, Mike carved the paw prints of his own old dog, who passed away shortly before at the age of 16.Marisea and Chris founded a non-profit that rescues sick and old dogs from shelters and places them in loving new homes.Additionally, the project covers the costs associated with the treatment and arrangement of their new lives.

As many senior dogs as possible are made happy in the lives of the couple.By the way, the couple believes their new bed has room for a couple more souls to be saved.
