Dog Walks Around the Police Station and Enters to Report Himself Missing

Last week in the early morning hours, a surprise visitor entered the Texas city of Odessa Police Department via the doors and leaped up upon the counter. The polite dog was eager to inform the authorities that someone had gone missing from their home.

Sergeant Rusty Martin, who was one among the policemen there to welcome him, observed that the puppy didn’t seem very upset about being a “lost dog.” He mostly just appeared to be looking for a good time, which he did.

Martin told The Dodo, “We were all thrilled to have him in the building. “We played around with a tennis ball we had in the lobby. Everybody adored him”.

The people in authority enjoyed the dog’s unexpected company, but they didn’t dismiss the issue he had first raised. However, problems with the solution soon arose.

Even though the dog was not wearing an ID tag on its collar and was wearing one, animal control was contacted to check for a microchip.

But before they arrived, everything had changed.
The dog seemed to have found his own way home to his family after deciding he had been “missing” for long enough.

Martin said that “he rushed out just as soon as he came in” in a Facebook post about the incident. “The dog’s owner confirmed that it was his dog the following day and that he had returned home. About a mile separates his home from the train station.

The Chico dog had successfully finished his first case, except for the one that he had created.

“I was amazed,” Martin exclaimed. He might be capable of doing the task.
