As is well known, dogs are wonderful creatures that are capable of doing things that seem impossible for a four-legged being. The idea that a dog may become a monk never occurred to us. This adorable puppy, believe it or not, proved my point.
It may be strange for a puppy to live like a brother given that the saint who created the order is the patron saint of animals, but the dog’s name seems more than appropriate.
The dog had lived on the streets before being taken in by the monks, so his life had been anything from straightforward.
The pup’s life has, however, significantly improved thanks to a local animal sanctuary. The group also hopes that since their campaign has been so successful, more monasteries will in the future be inspired by the touching tale of the dog.
He lives by playing and running, according to a monk at the monastery. Here, every brother adores him. He is a creation of God. Such a story might brighten someone’s day. Isn’t it wonderful?
