The fluffy puppy is apparently where his distinctive markings come from; he is half German Shepherd and half Australian Shepherd.
Three-month-old Logan certainly had a distinctive appearance. It’s what attracted his owner, Monica Gale, to him, she claims.

Logan was a puppy when she found him on Craigslist and fell in love with his amazing markings.
“This was the first time he’s ever done this, but now he does it every time I howl or whistle – I was really amused,” said Monica from Northern Carolina.
“Everyone remarks on how distinctive he appears. For a puppy, they claim he’s really peaceful!

“At first, I simply wanted to find Australian Shepherds, but Logan’s individuality and charm were too hard to ignore.
“The German Shepherd is his father. He has long hair, and his mostly-black cloak has streaks of brown. His mother is an Australian Shepherd; she has a multicolored coat and one blue and one brown eye.”

“There were six pups in his litter, all different. One female and five boys. The last boy was all-colored, while the other two had half faces and multiple-colored clothing. Three of the boys were only brown and black.
