New Yorkers Autumn Peralta and Chris Geymayr made their pet famous online by posting pictures of his special talent. Seven-year-old Tango uses his strong snout to balance anything you can think of, from piled doughnuts to basketballs. According to Mr. Geymayr, the first step in teaching Tango obedience was to have him wear a little goodie on his head.
“I reasoned that if he could maintain eye contact while holding the thing he desires most in life, he could accomplish anything. After he mastered little rewards in a matter of days, I observed that he was so remarkably stoic while doing so, so I just started to see what weird things I could balance.”

“At that point, we began piling sweets and little snacks like carrots or berries. It didn’t take me long to start experimenting with everything, including staplers and pumpkins.”
In order to showcase their brilliant Pitbull, which has over 20,000 followers together with another dog named Poukie, the Geymayrs created an Instagram account.

What initially began as a disciplinary drill for Tango quickly evolved into a stunning act that went viral on social media.
“We reached a point where we had to start testing him, according to Mr. Geymayr, simply because he found immense satisfaction in balancing objects and watching our reactions.”

He is balanced with wine in stemmed glasses, a dozen pastries, cupcakes with lit candles, and balls from all the main sports. The Geymayrs saved Tango when he was just three weeks old because he was the result of an unintentional litter from someone’s home security dogs.
“We made the website mostly to improve people’s perceptions of Pitbulls, which is why we work so hard with Tango, but even with all of his talent, 20,000+ people is a lot!”
