Meryl, a three-year-old pit bull, and Tako, an eight-year-old pit bull, met at a shelter. They were both led there by their owners. Our heroes had been a match made in heaven since they first met.

They can’t be apart for more than a few minutes before breaking down in sobs and crying. As a result, they always rest together in the shelter and share an enclosure.

A man arrived at the shelter a little while ago. When he saw Meryl, who he had been searching for, he fell in love at first sight. He finished all the paperwork and was ready to meet her.
Tako and Meryl started to complain as they were being taken out of the enclosure. They looked at one other somberly. Meryl maintained her resolve and stood her stance with all four paws.

After observing such a deep relationship, the man made the decision that he would either adopt two dogs at once or not take any at all. Fortunately, he went with option one. Tako and Meryl resided in the same house.
