There are many excellent painters in the world. Some dogs, though, are skilled with brushes and paints and can produce their own works of art.
Dog painters are well-known to the staff at Tripaws, an NPO with headquarters in the USA. Tripaws supports people who take care of animals with issues by offering financial assistance, information, and other services.
The sale of their paintings at fundraising auctions, which brings sponsors, is another way that tailed artists support the movement. At the end of 2020, we started selling Kaisern’s artwork, and it was a big success in terms of raising money for the Tripaws Foundation.
Kaisern died in 2021, thus I made the decision to carry on the project in her honor.
Nata Bagley now regularly manages the Tripaws charity dog art auction. There will be 21 works of canine art on display at Tripaws this year. All proceeds from the sale of the animal care packages will go to The Kaisern.
