This occurred at the start of 2018. The owner of Inia passed away. They were close since Inia spent her entire 13-year life with him.
When the man was in critical condition, his family called the hospital, but it was too late by the time the paramedics arrived.
They made an effort to revive him, but were unsuccessful. Inia approached the man and sat down next to him, her head resting under his arm, while they moved away from him.
She mostly sat at the window or entryway, as she did every time the owner departed for work. She continued to hold out hope that he would return.
The widow brought her puppy to the farewell ceremony on the day of her departure since she didn’t know what else to do.
Inia appears to be well prepared of the situation. She stood on her hind legs and posed for the owner. When she returned home with her family following the wedding, she ate a substantial dinner for the first time in ten days.
