Two dogs attack a cat, but the animal survives, and the veterinarian who saved him provides the cat with his permanent home.

Meet Buddy, a cat that barely made it after being attacked by two dogs.
Two youngsters walking their dogs approached the cat, who was on a porch, and let the dogs off their leashes so they could attack Buddy.

As he struggled for his life, Buddy the cat had to be taken to the hospital. Donations totaling over $130,000 were made to the Pennsylvania SPCA.
Katie Venanzi, an emergency vet, hoped the cat would survive the attack, but the likelihood seemed low.
Venanzi observed the cat rage at BluePearl Pet Hospital employees and beat his tail on the table while she attended to his various wounds.

After that, Buddy the cat started to get well on March 22nd and is now physically well.
Although the cat still has to handle some psychological trauma, his new owners are doing their best to assist him.

The two lads, who are still teenagers, were charged with crimes like animal fighting and severe animal mistreatment.
Buddy was a stray cat before the incident, but after he recovered, Venanzi, the doctor who treated him, decided to adopt him.

Buddy is currently delighted in his new forever home and enjoying the company of Teddy, his new brother.
