Until recently, Richard was the head of a small family that included a wife and a newborn daughter. All of a sudden, everything changed in an instant. The wife complained constantly after giving birth. After that, she left the house altogether, saying she needed some time alone.
Richard was shocked, of course. Taking care of a tiny girl who could not lie still for a minute was something he had never done before in his life. The single father thought he was going crazy at first. He had no time to do anything, everything fell out of his hands. His daughter’s face, however, made him realize that if he didn’t pull himself together, he would not be able to provide her with a happy childhood or a bright future.
As he became accustomed to calmness, he studied special literature for parents, where everything was more for mothers. Dad handled it, however. As the girl grew up, the man had to learn completely new things. How to braid her hair, paint her nails, and follow her fashion so that she looks no worse than her friends. Before going to bed, Richard watched video tutorials. Dad wanted his daughter to not feel deprived without her mother. Basically, the woman has lived her own life and has forgotten about her husband and daughter.
Persephone, the daughter, grew and grew. Gradually, dad and daughter became inseparable. In their little family, they don’t want anyone else. He calls his daughter “little princess,” and she calls him “my best dad ever.” She called her parents “dad-mom” when she was a baby.
As a result, Richard is very happy that he is managing his parental responsibilities, and he doesn’t remember the hell he had to endure after his wife left him. When his beloved daughter smiles, he is most happy. For the sake of this smile, he is willing to do anything.
