Together, three “feisty” Chihuahua best friends are looking for a home.

When it was discovered that Chico, Daisy, and Mitch were sharing a trailer with several other Chihuahuas, the RSPCA acted swiftly to take them in. Since the three were so apprehensive when they first arrived at the shelter, it took the staff months to win their trust. They have become much more affectionate and self-assured over time, but their love for one another has remained unwavering.

Chico, Daisy, and Mitch struggle with being apart as close friends. Their rescuers want to place the two of them in the ideal forever home because they have a close bond.

According to a news statement from Tiffany Saunders, the kennels supervisor at the RSPCA’s Block Fen Animal Centre, “When Chico, Daisy, and Mitch came they were under-socialized and quite fearful of people.” We had to work hard to get them to come out of their shells, but now we’re really getting to know them as people.

Even though they are both small but formidable and each has a distinct personality, they are united by their affection for one another. We’re praying for a miracle in order to locate a particular person who is ready to take them all on since we really want to keep this trio together!

The shelter has received a lot of interest in the group so far but hasn’t been able to match them exactly. Their rescuers describe them as feisty, and they need a home that can accommodate each of their unique needs.

According to Saunders, Daisy is obviously in charge of the crew. She is the most cautious of strangers and will make you work for her devotion. She enjoys going on leisurely strolls and chasing Mitch around the paddocks.

Once she has earned your trust, she is extremely loving and enjoys cuddling. Chico is the most autonomous of the three and is content to follow his own path. He also likes to have a good sniff. However, he likes cuddling with his companions when it’s time for bed.

While initially shy, Mitch becomes a great lap dog once he gets to know you. He first needed to be carried on walks, but he is gradually realizing that they can be enjoyable! Keep an eye out for him at mealtimes because he’s a bit of a pig and will attempt to steal Daisy’s meals.

They’ve gone through a lot, and now they simply want a calm environment where they can all unwind and be themselves, surrounded by those who love them.
With this little group, it took some time for us to develop relationships, but Saunders said, “they’ve shown how loving they are.”

These three could need some time to select the ideal outfit, but their rescuers are prepared to wait and are not ready to give up. Without a doubt, there is a family out there that would take them all in.
We understand that adopting one dog is a great responsibility, so taking on three is a big ask, but Saunders insisted that the trio shouldn’t be split up.
