Two Siberian tiger cubs rejected by their mother were adopted by a wrinkled sand-colored Shar Pei dog

A dog’s instincts are powerful, and they are vividly expressed. In addition to caring for their own babies, they also care for the orphaned babies of other species.

Once again, this story shows how mamma dogs are capable of comforting and loving helpless creatures. There is one essential reason why wild animals shouldn’t live in captivity. As a result, they lose their maternal instinct and reject their own newborns.

This is what happened to these two newborn endangered tigers. They could not survive without this adorable Shar Pei mamma dog. Two Siberian tiger cubs born at Oktyaberskiy health resort Zoo in Russia were rejected by their mother shortly after birth. In the absence of their mother’s care and protection, they would have been unlikely to survive.

The cubs were saved by Cleopatra, a sand-colored Shar Pei with wrinkles. She was ready to nurse two wild tiger cubs after giving birth to her own babies. Cleopatra took care of the newborn cubs immediately and breastfed them alongside her own.

A caring adoptive mother and a big, lovely family welcomed the orphaned tigers. In Cleopatra’s house, they all slept together. Cleopatra named one of the cubs Clyopa, and Plyusha named the other. The little tigers are not aggressive and pose no threat to the caring mamma dog. When they grow up, they will return to the Zoo.
