A couple of years ago, Caroline and Simon Hall from Durham (England) stopped hoping to find their dog Bonnie, a Cocker Spaniel, that was stolen from their home in 2014.

However, this couple was just extremely lucky. Six years after she was stolen from them, their pet was found 200 miles from their Norfolk home. We can’t believe what we’re hearing. Caroline Hall said, “I had already stopped hoping that she would return, but I still occasionally checked ads for lost dogs.”. Simon and Caroline Hall thought Bonnie would look bad when they left for their long-awaited meeting, but luckily she looked fine. Bonnie gave birth to puppies just a couple of months ago, according to veterinarians. Bonnie was stolen for breeding purposes, according to her owners’ version of her kidnapping.

It is not uncommon for purebred dogs to be stolen. With their help, kidnappers get puppies they can sell for a lot of money. The Hall family is very lucky that their dog returned alive and unharmed, as people who do this usually treat animals very badly. We’ll take her home, introduce her to Jessie, and just have a quiet night by the fire”, says Mrs Hall.

Bonnie’s family was also very happy, said Caroline Trigg, head of the pet rescue service. I have never seen a dog returned after being missing for so long. It must have been very difficult for the poor thing. Someone made a lot of money off of it, and it’s very sad. It is wonderful to be able to return her to a loving family. This is just good news that we need so much this year”, said the head of the rescue service.
