Pennsylvania is the location of this story. As a cleaning worker was cleaning a recently moved out house, she found a dog trapped in the attic. With frightened eyes, the poor fellow looked at the woman.

Although it is unknown how long the dog stayed in the attic, it chewed the walls and corners. There was a lot of dirt in the room, and it was hard not to feel pity for the dog. There were fleas all over it, and it was very hungry. She had clearly been abandoned by her owners.

In spite of the difficulties, the dog still trusted people – she wagged her tail when they approached. She gave the dog to her sister Jamie, who decided to take care of it. Remi was taken in by her as a foster child.

A veterinarian found the dog’s injured leg after Jamie took her to the vet. Her guardian began treating the dog and restoring her health. Flea baths, paw massages, and medicine were given to her.

It turned out that Remy was a very kind, sweet, and obedient dog. All those she met fell in love with her, and she also got along well with the guardian’s four children. Remi was always kind and calm, no matter how much the children squeezed her. Remi also befriended two house cats and the owner’s dog, a 9-month-old pit bull.

It didn’t take long for them to start doing everything together. It took Jamie a few weeks to decide that this dog already had a loving home.
