A California resident became famous worldwide after giving birth to eight babies simultaneously in 2009.
Nadia Suleman received the name Octomama for her incredible achievements. Six boys and two girls were born to the mother of many children. Furthermore, all of them survived and grew up quite healthy. Just a few days ago, they turned 14! In marriage with her husband, Nadia was unable to have children naturally. She then suggested that her husband try IVF. As a result of these disagreements, the couple split up. In spite of this, the woman did not give up and decided to do everything by herself.
Suleman’s octuplets were not his first children. Six children had already been born to her before that. In the last artificial insemination, the doctor, who was later deprived of his license, planted 12 embryos at once for Nadia, and she became pregnant with a record number of children. When she was 31 weeks pregnant, she had a caesarean section, which was attended by several dozen doctors and nurses. It is a feat, of course, to give birth to so many children.
Raising them seems impossible. Despite this, the mother of many children managed to cope. Her children recently celebrated their 14th birthdays on karting in a large and friendly company. The photographs from the celebration make it difficult to identify Nadia herself, who is clearly lost among the grown-ups. Throughout this entire story, it is also surprising that Nadia is raising all 14 children alone!
