There is nothing better than a dog. People and other animals often benefit from their love and loyalty.

While walking along the Saker River, Kerrie Burns and Pam Weber’s dog, Kenai, began barking at the shrubs. There was a bald eagle hiding there, which he noticed.

When the dog saw that the owners had also noticed the bird, he stopped barking since he wasn’t taught to chase other animals. There was something wrong with the eagle, according to the couple.

As they approached the bird, she wanted to jump on them. It was already dark, and the couple decided to go home and return the next day.

The eagle was still sitting in the bush the next day. After that, they decided to ask for help. A rehabilitation organization caught and rehabilitated the eagle.

A shoulder injury and frozen feathers plagued the eagle. Lead poisoning was also discovered later. Lead treatment can take several months to a year, according to the veterinarian.

The bird, however, has a good prognosis. The eagle would not have survived without treatment if it hadn’t been for Kenai. Another example of how amazing dogs can be.
