A Labrador became a nanny for seven abandoned kittens in the United Kingdom. He helps them interact with others, teaches them how to find themselves, and takes gentle, caring care of them.
After being a stray dog, the one-year-old Labrador was saved and adopted. Perhaps this is what led him to develop into a patient and compassionate teacher for kids. An abandoned litter of seven infants was found by the side of the road. The top nurse at Battersea and the owner of Bertie gave her permission for Rachel to take the kittens home.

She shared a home with Bertie, a dog that had been rescued and fostered.
It is very moving to see a pet that has been saved now helping to save other creatures, said Rachel.
Bertie entertained the babies while caring for the kittens and teaching them how to take care of themselves. The employee at the shelter expressed her admiration for her dog’s consideration. Rachel and Bertie took care of the kittens until they were old enough to eat and use the litter box on their own.

When the kittens were older and more self-sufficient, they were brought back to the Battersea Shelter. They were taken in by a devoted family. Although it was hard to see them go, Rachel remarked, “I can be comforted in the knowledge that Bertie and I were able to give them the best possible start in life.” The nurse jokingly suggested that perhaps Bertie was secretly relishing the calm that had descended upon the apartment since the 7 rambunctious kittens left.
