Chang Wanji and Shu Shu-ye, a married Taiwanese couple, updated their approach to activities after 70 years of monotonous work.

As a result, the elderly became the face of Facebook and Instagram, stylishly combining clothes that had been forgotten by their clients for many years. There are already thousands of social media users from different parts of the world who have appreciated and cheered up the young couple.

Reef Chan, the grandson of Chang Wanji and Shu Shu-ye, came up with the idea of stylish dressing when he convinced his grandparents to take photos in accumulated old clothes and share them online. In this way, Reef only wanted to cheer up his grandparents, who often dozed off waiting for clients during the working day. Each new day was the same as the last.

But he never expected such a positive impact on social networks: “There is often no one in the laundry, they [grandparents] start sleeping on the counter, the mood is down.”. According to Reef, if we already have so many unclaimed clothes, I could remind people to take them away so that my grandparents could still have an enjoyable life even in old age,” he explained in an interview.Initially, the couple resisted the idea. In this business, wearing someone else’s clothes is unacceptable. Their grandson, however, convinced them that “good style is not affected by age”.

Despite donating a lot of clothes to charities, their entrepreneurial wardrobe remained large. The grandson of two elderly fashionistas reads them positive comments on social networks.
