The most valuable thing we have is our family. A group of two or more persons who are related by birth is referred to as a family.
However, occasionally certain unavoidable occurrences can change this interpretation. A family is made up of members from many species. This is specifically how the protagonist of our novel is feeling.

A gorgeous labrador named Fred and his big family resides in Mountfitchet Castle. The adorable puppy owners, Jo and Jeremy, are animal lovers who have taken in a number of rescued animals. Because of this, Fred took on the role of a big brother to all the animals who had through horrible and painful circumstances.
He frequently stood by their side, supporting and defending them. One day, nine baby ducklings were found wandering around the area around the castle without their mother. The staff at the castle thought that was strange and started looking about for the mother of the ducklings. The crew came to the conclusion that she might have been a fox’s victim when the search turned up nothing.

They accepted the smaller animals into their larger brood out of concern that they would meet the same fate. When Fred first came into contact with the ducklings, he responded in an unusual way. He started to take care of them by enclosing them in his paw. The ducklings believe the dog is their father and follow him wherever he goes.
Along with eating and sleeping together, they often go swimming in the nearby pond.
