Susie Troxler, 50, and Tony Troxler, 61, became parents for the first time. For many years, they dreamed of becoming parents, but infertility prevented them from doing so.

It has been 13 years since they got married. The couple has tried to conceive a child ever since, but nothing has worked.According to Susie, she and her husband didn’t even know about IVF, so they didn’t consider it.Three years ago, Tony began working at Cone Health in the security department. A gynecologist saw Susie for the first time at the clinic for a check-up.”At the end of the appointment, she asked me a question that had never been asked before: “Do you have any other concerns?” Susie said, “We can work on it.”

A reproductive specialist was referred to the woman. In the case of younger patients, the gynecologist orders an examination to find out if they are experiencing infertility issues.Susie’s age, however, made the gynecologist decide that conception was unlikely. After undergoing IVF, the couple was unable to create a viable embryo. Susie received a donor embryo transplant in 2019. The situation didn’t settle down. The Troxlers decided to try one more time – they still had a viable embryo left.Everything worked out this time. They couldn’t believe their luck! The pregnancy went smoothly for Susie, and their long-awaited daughter, Lily, was born on October 29. The gynecologist rejoiced with the parents.

According to her and her husband, children appear in their lives when they are needed, and Lily was born at just the right time. The newly-made parents now stay up at night, change diapers, but say that they wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.Tony and Susie still can’t believe they have a baby.Tony looks at the baby for a long time and cannot stop admiring it, as Susie cannot get used to being a mother.“She is our miracle child,” her happy mother said.
