Two hikers were left speechless as a lost cat accompanied them to the summit of a 10,000-foot mountain.

Cyril and Erik Rohrer climbed Mount Britsen in Switzerland. At 4:30 a.m., the men heard a cat meow in the jungle at an elevation of around 4,000 feet above sea level.

A striped kitten approached them after that, seeking attention and unwilling to leave the hikers. Because the peak was still approximately 7,500 feet away, the tourists couldn’t leave the path or leave the cat to its destiny.

As a result, the four-legged followed them for a long way upward. She climbed to 10,000 feet above sea level as a result.

“To say the least, we were puzzled.” “I felt terrible for the cat.” “She was utterly exhausted on the peak beneath the summit,” Cyril observed. Cyril and Eric would sometimes hold Kitty in their arms or set her on top of their backpacks because she was tired.

The cat’s paws were bleeding due to the ice coating the mountain.

Finally, the hikers encountered walkers making their way down the plain towards the city. It turned out that Kitty had been absent for four days.

She’d been to the summit two days before with other tour groups.
