In September 2018, Dean Nicholson, a 31-year-old Scot, decided he wanted to tour the globe.
To carry out his idea, he left quickly his hometown of Dunbar on a bicycle journey. Overall, Dean’s trip was going well as he set off on his southern voyage.
He was able to visit eight different countries altogether. It’s important to note that after Dean crossed the state line into Montenegro, his plans drastically changed. Dean heard a loud meow behind him, which he immediately recognized, despite the loud music playing. He looked around and saw a lovely cat sitting and gazing at him with its beautiful eyes.
He approached her without second thoughts and petted her before continuing his journey. It seems, though, that the cat had other plans. Nicholson originally had no plans to bring the cat along. But after stroking her fur, he was so in love that he was unable to let her go. Dean understood that she had been left behind and that she probably didn’t have enough food. Without wasting any more time, the visitor picked up the cat and took it to the nearest medical clinic.
The gentleman gave his partner the charming name Nala after making sure she was healthy. The friends set off on their journey at that point. By removing the front-mounted digital equipment and basket and replacing them with a zip-lockable pet bag, Dean made room on his bike for the cat. It’s important to note that Nala quickly showed off her bold side. Dean agrees that the cat enjoys taking luxurious long trips. Members of the community from different countries frequently stop to watch the animal during their visit. After hearing about the cat’s history with the visitor, several people even take pictures with her.
One day, Nala got sick because they got stuck in a cool downpour. The man realized at this time how much he feared losing his canine friend. Hence he decided to spend some time in one of the hostels while she was getting well. Everything is now perfectly functioning thanks to Nala. She keeps hanging out with her new friend.
