Students at Bishop Manogh High School in Nevada love the cafeteria worker.
She is very friendly and good-natured and cheers up hundreds of children every day. She is also known as “Dining Lady Lynn”.The students of this school decided to give their cook an unusual gift one day.This strange affection is due to Lynn’s good nature. She gives students a beaming smile and kind words every day.Additionally, Lynn always refers to children by name. She remembers them all so well.All children are treated with kindness and warmth by her. She also provides support during difficult times.Human Be Nice is a project that inspires students to honor society’s heroes in a creative way.Bishop-Manog School students didn’t think long about who they wanted to honor when this project came along.Their opinion was that chef Lynn deserved special thanks. They decided to do something unusual for her.
Lynn sometimes mentioned to the children that she would like to see her mother, but this is difficult on a cafeteria employee’s salary.As a result, the students decided to surprise Lynn.Posters were hung around the school, but Lynn had no idea it was her who was responsible for the celebration.Lynn was led to the awards table by a student in a suit when it was time to reveal all the cards and hand over the prepared gift.She was confused and didn’t know what to do.It was impossible for her to contain her emotions when the students told her what had happened. She burst into tears of joy.The students also gave the woman a Southwest airline gift card as a token of their attention.The children knew Lynn had a sick mother, but she couldn’t visit her because of high airfare. Lynn’s long-cherished wish is fulfilled by the students.
Their efforts were successful.What a gift the students gave her touched the woman to the core of her being.She said in an interview that she had no idea how much the children appreciated her work. Each student has helped Lynn fulfill a cherished dream, and she is very grateful for their support.
